Ward D centers around a state run psychiatric hospital, and the lives of both the residents and the staff that cares for them. It is a reserved, dark look at the places no one wishes to believe exist.

Jon Tierney and Mariana Parma

The film was conceived first by looking at what was necessary to drive the narrative, and with that, what could be removed. The character, and the actor that plays them, are front, top, and all else comes after.
